Bell appoints Tangmere Aircraft Sales to expand UK and Ireland representation

Bell Textron has appointed Tangmere Aircraft Sales as an authorised sales representative for Bell 429, SUBARU Bell 412EPX, and Bell 525 helicopters in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Tangmere specialises in the acquisition and sale of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, providing sales support, demonstration flights, and market promotion for Bell’s twin-engine product line.

The appointment enables Bell to strengthen its rotary-wing presence in key regional markets and expand its customer engagement through operational demonstrations and direct sales channels. Will Fanshawe, recently appointed director at Tangmere, will lead the company’s rotary-wing operations, overseeing marketing and sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland.

Robin Wendling, managing director for Bell Europe, emphasised the collaboration’s role in enhancing Bell’s twin-engine offerings and delivering operational efficiency, performance, and reliability to local operators. The partnership ensures Bell can effectively engage aviation customers seeking advanced rotary solutions for corporate, medical, and general aviation operations.

Tangmere’s authorisation as a Bell representative allows for comprehensive support to owners and operators, including aircraft demonstration flights, operational briefings, and market-specific guidance. This also provides a platform for Bell to consolidate its presence in the UK and Ireland, aligning its products with evolving customer requirements.

In parallel, Bell confirmed that Texas-based air ambulance operator HALO-Flight has taken delivery of a new IFR-equipped Bell 407GXi, the fifth of its type delivered to the charity, highlighting ongoing global adoption of Bell’s rotary aircraft.

The collaboration between Bell and Tangmere is expected to drive growth in helicopter sales and promote advanced rotary capabilities across the UK and Ireland aviation market.
